What can I do to prevent periodontal (gum) disease?

Always Brush and Floss!

Practicing good oral hygiene habits is the best way to prevent periodontal disease. Brush your teeth twice daily using good technique, and floss every day in the evening. If you need help with proper brushing and flossing technique, one of our excellent dental hygienists will be happy to provide a hands-on demonstration.

Come to Our Rehoboth Beach Office for Cleanings

Visit our office every six months for a dental examination and a professional cleaning. During these visits, our hygienists will clean the build up of plaque off your teeth and perform an oral exam to look for any sign of gum disease. Frequent visits to the dentist allow us to catch it early so we can better treat gum disease.
